The Bluebeam Rally Team is one of the newest and most talked about competitors on the Swedish Rally Circuit. Formed in 2010, Bluebeam Software has partnered with rally veterans Björn Wulff, Christian Gren, Anders Nystedt, Jonas Wennberg, Kenneth Lodeklint and Jan Österman to help push sales of its PDF solutions for design, engineering and technical professionals full-throttle through the European Channel. Bluebeam Rally Drivers race to spread Bluebeam’s PDFin’ message and to fulfill their need for speed in competitions such as Skepptuna-Sprinten, Torparskogsrundan and LBC-Ruschen. The team has an arsenal of rally cars, including a fast new Opel Corsa. Bathed in speed yellow with the Mighty Bluebeam on its side, Bluebeam Rally cars are a can’t-miss sight on the rally course.

Anders Nystedt - Driver / Co-driver
Anders’ lifelong racing career has been packed full of all the excitement and speed found on a rally track. He started in a Saab v4 Standard B, and soon after switched to a brand new Opel Ascona A Rally. Anders then started the Hemglass Racing Team for the Swedish Championship in Rallycross. The team’s first car was a Saab v4 Turbo, and they later went on to race Porsches, Volvos and VW Beetles. Always focused on the next victory, Anders then started a team for the Swedish Championship in Rally, called “Anders Kläder Racing”. They first competed in the Saab, but soon switched to Backwheel driven Toyota starlets. A total of four black starlets competed on both local and national levels. Next up for Anders was competing in the Suzuki Cup with Stocksund Rally Team. The highlight of this venture was finishing second in Group N of the 1989 Swedish Rally. Then, Anders and his friend Kjelle Friberg started the JVC Rally Team, a fully-sponsored professional rally team that raced in the Swedish Championship and abroad. The most memorable moment this team – racing in the 1993 Swedish Rally with the singer from hit Swedish pop group Freestyle, Gigi Hamilton, riding shotgun as Anders’ Co-Driver. Lucky Anders!

Favorite interest, besides flying over the crest on a rally stage:
Definitely boating on the Stockholm archipelago in the summer. I love swimming and playing water sports while looking at the beautiful shorelines of the coast. It’s absolutely amazing. In the winter, I’m all about downhill skiing. But that hobby is second, of course, to drifting in my rally car.

Björn Wulff - Driver / Co-driver
Racing is in Björn’s blood. He started at the age of 16, joining his father on a team that drove endurance races in a Saab 99. These races gave Björn a great opportunity to learn how to handle a car in high speed, and to find optional apex through corners since these races went through exhilarating rally cross circuits. Later, Björn started rallying as a Co-Driver for both his father and his cousin. After sensing the rally heat and gaining a need for more speed, Björn struck out on his own path in the forest, and most recently competed in a standard Golf rally car.

Heading to the gym and pressing play on my iPod. Working out to my playlist gives me a free zone to decompress out and relax – something that is really important when your schedule is as tight as mine.
Favorite rally:
In the WRC, I would have to say Rally Sweden and Jyväskylä Rally (In Finland). For the SM and DM I would say all the winter rallies north of Sandviken in February.

Christian Gren - Driver
Christian’s interest in racing and rallying began at the age of 15. He would stay out late to watch late-night street races and local rally competitions. He’s moved on to rallying a few years ago, beginning by taking classes to obtain the obligatory rally license, then his Co-Driver license. You hear that kids – it’s cool to follow the rules. Christian is excited to take rallying full speed, and participate for the first time as the driver in a rally competition.

Favorite interest, besides flying over the crest on a rally stage:
When I’m not rallying I like working on my every day car and my motorcycle, upgrading parts and making everything just a little bit better. Working out at the gym is also a big part of my life, and I try to go at least four times a week. I’ve also played a lot of golf. I started golfing when I was 5, and by the time I turned 20 I was on the Swedish National Tour.
Favorite rally:
The WRC in Finland 2009. Great event and very nice weather.

Jan Österman - Driver / Co-driver
Jan may be new to rallying, be he’s definitely not new to fast cars. His roots are in the street racing circuit, and for about 12 years his main passion was tuning and driving cars. But about five years ago, Jan started spending more and more time on the tarmac track. And now, after many years of encouragement from his good friend and fellow Bluebeam Rally Team member, Björn, Jan has finally converted to the woods and narrow gravel roads. He started rallying last year with Björn in a Volkswagen Golf – Class Rally Economy. The race is on!

I love spending time in my house on the countryside. When I’m out there, you’ll either find me breaking waves in high speed on my Jet Ski, or fishing in a nice, quiet little bay with friends.
Favorite rally?
In WRC, my favorit Rally Sweden – hands down. Otherwise, I really like Pikes Peak. It may not be technically classified as a rally, but that doesn’t matter. It’s a blast!
